If you’ve had enough of the holiday tunes and want to acquire some new music that is better suited to your personal tastes, then check out Need Mac Help’s #6 App, Pandora Radio.

The Pandora Radio App is personalized radio for your iPhone.  It helps you create “stations” based on your favorite bands, songs or style of music.  If you don’t like one of the songs that Pandora suggests, you just select the thumbs down and Pandora will further refine the selections to fit your taste.  You can also bookmark songs that you like and create stations from them or buy them in iTunes.

Next up on our list of iPhone Apps is Delivery Status by Junecloud.  This App is particularly useful right now to help track all those holiday packages and year end purchases.

You can track shipments from UPS, FedEx, DHL, the USPS among others.  Orders placed with Amazon, Apple and Google Checkout can be tracked before they even ship.  With the free Dashboard widget (or any web browser), you can easily sync all your tracking numbers.

Next up in our list of (currently) favorite (and in no particular order) Apps, is Beejive IM.

At $15.99, Beejive is probably one of the more expensive Apps that we like, but it’s worth every penny.  For starters, it’s an incredibly stable IM application, probably the most stable one out there.  It also has a very attractive and easy-to-use interface.  And it works with almost every IM network out there — AIM/iChat/MobileMe, MSN/Windows Live, Yahoo!, MySpace, GoogleTalk, ICQ and Jabber (no Skype yet).

One of the best features is the ability to participate in multiple chats simultaneously AND move back and forth between them with ease.

Facebook is iPhone App #2 on our (non-exhaustive and in no order of importance) list of favorite Apps.

All the main Facebook features are here.  You can view newsfeeds, write to your friends, view your wall and the walls of your friends, and view friends’ photo libraries.  As would be expected for an application intended for use on a mobile device, the Facebook iPhone App features very nifty mobile features like the Facebook Chat IM service (you can chat with your friends for free!) and fast photo uploading.

Sifting through the App Store in iTunes can be a daunting experience.  There are so many iPhone Apps, and many are games (with questionable entertainment value).  We like Apps that are fun, but also elegantly designed and useful (even if the end use is to make us laugh when we’re having a bad day).

So before you take up space on your iPhone with potentially useless and unnecessary Apps, check out Need Mac Help’s ongoing series of our Top 10 iPhone Apps (that we like right now).  Nota bene: this top 10 list is in no particular order and is certainly not exhaustive.

Today I’m going to talk about our App #1 in our list, Google Mobile.

Google Mobile App

There have been many posts written about this App, but for those of you who aren’t in the know, the Google Mobile App provides incredibly fast and easy access to information with instant access to Google Search.  For starters, you can search with your voice so you don’t have to type.  And if you really want to use the keypad to search, Google Mobile gives you relevant search suggestions as you type. on Twitter
